About
ROGETI was founded by Zhou Ruogu , a top-tier commercial photographer in architectural photography. In pursuit of the perfect image, he often went beyond the limits of existing tools—designing his own when necessary.
The early concept of the TSE FRAME, for instance, emerged from commissioned cinema projects for Dolby. The SLOPES for GoPro, was created simply to support his own behind-the-scenes work. This ability to translate need into form traces back to his earlier training as an architect.
In 2015, ROGETI gained widespread recognition through its first crowdfunding campaign. From that point on, Ruogu devoted himself entirely to equipment design. Drawing on years of real-world shooting experience, a deep understanding of workflow, and a clear awareness of overlooked inefficiencies, he established a design philosophy rooted in logic, precision, and form.
This also gave ROGETI an unusually high starting point.
If you’ve spent time with the RG-1 geared head or the T32 series tripods, you’ll notice something different. These are not products shaped by existing conventions or incremental improvements. They are not built from assumptions.
And more importantly, they are free from gimmicks.
What ROGETI strives to do is simple but fundamental: to reshape how photographers work through tool design—enhancing efficiency and capability, and ultimately enabling higher artistic achievement.
These capabilities are not exclusive to professional photographers. We believe that truth, once realized, applies to everyone.
