I ordered the TSE frame for the 24mm and the 50mm and I am absolutely thrilled. The ring fits absolutely precisely on the lens and just as precisely on my Arca-Swiss tripod head. Switching from portrait to landscape is super-smooth and literally takes a second. And the diagonal stitching is a real game-changer, especially indoors. 5 out of 5 stars!
The 50mm TSE Rogeti frame is truly, exquisitely machined. Not only does it perfectly fit the lens (only a rubber-like compound touches the lens surface with the remaining frame metal vaulting the lens by fractions of a millimeter), but it allows easy access to all shift knobs (the tilt control is covered by the frame).
The included nodal rail has machined marks indicating the location of the entrance pupils for the 17, 24-II, and 50 TSE lenses (shown in the attached photo). This means that when using the frame with this nodal rail, the Rogeti frame provides for nodal point pan-stitching as well as for the shifting of the sensor-plane: a compact and versatile design. Rotational pan-shifting is especially nice with the 50mm perspective when combined with portrait-oriented, sensor-plane shifting (using an Canon R5, 4-5 such images will contain ~300-MP, having a FOV of that of a 15mm lens but with a near-far perspective of a 50mm).
I'm thoroughly impressed with the design and have also purchased the Rogeti frame for the 17 and 24-II lenses.
I am very interested to use your product but it seems nothing for Nikon 19mm TS
If you could do customize for nikon
Best Regards,
Having originally owned the 24/17mm MKII TSE frame I upgraded to the new MK III version and when I recently purchased the Canon 50mm TSE decided to raid the savings and purchase the 50mm TSE frame. I didn't think the 24/17 frame could be improved upon as regards workmanship/quality but this 50mm Frame exceeds even this! Even the packaging is quality! The movement is silky smooth, the locking screw is ... silky smooth, in fact everything about this frame is (you guessed it) silky smooth! I've wasted money trying alternative frames but once you've tried the best there is no going back. Personally the cost of the frame is well worth it and makes using the lens so much easier and also negates any issues in post production when stitching - you lose absolutely nothing (magapixel wise) on the edges etc. Highly recommend. BTW the Customer Service is second to none - I needed this frame in a hurry and express delivery to the UK was less than 48 hours! Unbelievable!
Just holding this work of art justifies the price alone, it really is a thing of precision and beauty. Paired up with my TS lens is a joy to use and I've spent some great times lining up stuff with it, which sounds strange has to be said!
Really amazing and a no brainer purchase if you have one of these lenses.
